Children in Traffic - Why Are They Different?C110 (13 minutes) Produced in West Germany, designed to show drivers how children differ from adults in their perceptions of traffic. It shows that children cannot be expected to fully comprehend traffic rules or the reasons behind them and will often do the unexpected. Drivers are cautioned, not to rely solely on traffic regulations, to protect children and to remember that children are spontaneous and will often do what is least expected.
Fire Prevention in SchoolsS158 (9 minutes) This program covers basic training in fire prevention and electrical safety for all persons involved with a school, i.e. teachers, administrative personnel, maintenance personnel, and junior and senior high school students.

Operation Lifesaver Elementary School PresentationO103 (19 minutes) This video program demonstrates the proper approach for teaching young children grades 1 through 6 about the Operation Lifesaver program. Operation Lifesaver program informs children about the necessity for safety around trains and railroads. This program was videotaped in an actual classroom setting and features Gene Price as the presenter.
Playground SafetyS175 (7 minutes) Teaches elementary students how to avoid accidents on the playground, reporting hazards, obeying supervision and generally how to prevent accidents when on the playground. Excellent program to reinforce the lessons taught in the classroom on safety education.
Train TalkT125 (14 minutes) This video was made by Union Pacific Railroad to inform children about the hazards around railroads. Two boys, while visiting a classmate who lives near a railroad track, see an engine at work. A young brakeman strikes up a conversation with the boys and tells them how he switches cars, what the whistle signals mean and how he communicates with the engineer. He also tells the boys of the crew's concern for the safety of the children playing near the tracks. After learning how the trainmen work, the boys have a greater respect for hazards around railroad tracks. Catalogs are also available by mail.
